These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ScribeAI ("Service"), operated by ScribeAI ("we", "us", or "our"). By using ScribeAI, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

ScribeAI is an AI-powered medical documentation tool that converts doctor-patient consultations and dictations into structured SOAP (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan) notes. The service supports Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, Arabic, and English languages.

2. Eligibility

ScribeAI is intended for use by licensed medical professionals, including doctors, physicians, and healthcare practitioners. By registering, you confirm that you are a qualified healthcare professional.

3. Medical Disclaimer

ScribeAI is a documentation assistance tool, not a medical device.

• SOAP notes generated by ScribeAI are AI-generated drafts and must be reviewed and verified by the treating physician before use in any clinical context.
• ScribeAI does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.
• You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of medical records created using ScribeAI.
• Never rely solely on AI-generated notes without clinical verification.

4. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
• One account per person — sharing accounts is not permitted.

5. Subscription and Payments

• ScribeAI offers a free trial (50 notes) and paid subscription plans.
• Subscriptions are billed monthly.
• Payments for India are processed by Razorpay. Payments for GCC and international are processed by Paddle/Stripe.
• Prices are listed in INR for India and USD for GCC/international.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

6. Patient Data and Privacy

• ScribeAI does not store patient audio recordings, names, or clinical data.
• You are responsible for obtaining appropriate patient consent before recording consultations.
• You are responsible for compliance with applicable healthcare data regulations (DPDP Act in India, applicable UAE regulations in GCC).
• Do not record patients without their knowledge and consent.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use ScribeAI for any unlawful purpose.
• Share your account with others.
• Attempt to reverse engineer or copy the ScribeAI service.
• Use ScribeAI to generate false or fraudulent medical records.
• Upload audio that you do not have the right to process.

8. Service Availability

We strive for 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service downtime or technical issues.

9. Intellectual Property

ScribeAI and its content, features, and functionality are owned by ScribeAI and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the service without our written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScribeAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any errors in AI-generated SOAP notes.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of ScribeAI after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. For GCC users, applicable UAE laws also apply.
